The Choice Is Yours

Polyethylene foam has many different variants which can be very specific to the end application, some polyethylene’s have a very open cell structure this allows light to populate the cell structure and gives it that sparkle which is key for some point of sale campaigns.

Also you can get polyethylene foams which have a very tight cell structure which almost look like a suede to the naked eye, with a tight cell structure and nowhere for the light to penetrate these have a matt finish.

Once you know the type of finish you would like for you application next comes the density of the foam, this is usually measured in kilos per cubic meter and generally ranges from 15kg up to 100kg.

Polyurethane Foam

Open cell Polyurethane foams are generally less rigid, dense as closed cell polyethylene foams, however these foams have their place in the retail / luxury packaging market.

Available in a large range of colours and densities. If its a softer feel that’s required Polyurethane foam is ideal for your application.
