Why Ethafoam for protective packaging

Ethafoam is a closed-cell polyethylene foam. It doesn't absorb water, it absorbs impact, and it returns to shape afterwards, which is why it's specified for transit packaging and bespoke inserts where the packaging has to survive more than one journey. We convert it to your drawing: split sheets, pressed fitments, waterjet profiles and routed components.

Where Ethafoam sits: cross-linked vs. non-cross-linked

Ethafoam is a non-cross-linked polyethylene foam. Both types have their place, and we convert both, so if the other one suits your application better, we'll say so.
